Machinists have problem-solving, analytical, and mechanical skills. Other skills of these professionals are strong math skills, eye-hand coordination, and the overall ability to stand at laths for a long period and use the drills and other equipment as efficiently as possible.

• $26 - $29 an hour (pay rate based on experience)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to use measuring equipment and read prints.
• Possess good math skills.
• Ability to communicate in a reliable manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, process work rapidly, work under pressure and follow through with assigned tasks.
•  5 plus years experience with good references

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Setup and operate machine.
• Troubleshoot with maintenance and manager to resolve equipment related and job problems.
• Verify jobs for accuracy.
• Be willing to accept a work schedule with hourly demands that will vary as workload fluctuates
• Assist with loading and unloading as necessary.
• Answer after hour calls when needed
• Assist in training new machinist.
• Shall perform other duties in support of Wright Group as requested by the Manager.
