The World's Largest Social Network is Hiring an UX Researcher (AR/VR) Near Burlingame, CA

HireArt is helping the world’s largest social network hire a UX Researcher (AR/VR) to design and conduct research, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to synthesize results and provide clear insight.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's/Master's in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, HCI, Perceptual Psychology or related field, and 3 years experience in UX research/design including AR/VR/XR, experimental design and in depth interviews.
As a UX Researcher (AR/VR), you will:
  • Design and conduct research on topics such as inputs, interactions, accessibility and usability.
  • Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, project managers and engineers on a variety of projects.
  • Identify potential research and synthesize internal/external research to provide clear insights.
  • Record and analyze attitudinal/behavioral data, perform statistical analyses and construct plots.
  • Write study reports, prepare presentations and contribute to product strategy/execution.

  • 3 years experience in UX research or design, including working across the full product lifecycle
  • Experience with AR/VR/XR technologies and experimental design
  • Experience leading projects and in depth interviews
  • Knowledgeable in experiment design using standard generative and evaluative methods
  • Experience with statistical analyses and hardware-based research
  • Flexibility to adapt and overcome obstacles with software and hardware prototypes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across research/product areas
  • Experience with qualitative or mixed methods is a plus
Commitment: This is a full-time, 3-month contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Burlingame, CA area.
