Director, Front Office Services – Luxury Mega Yacht

The Director, Front Office Services’ primary responsibility is to manage and oversee all aspects of the Front Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary customer service and problem resolution to Residents and Guests
  • Supervise the R&G pre-arrival, time on board and post-departure experience, including communication, coordination and compliance
  • Oversee the Residents Services Coordinator and the Hotel Operations Coordinator, ensuring efficient and competent service to the Community
  • Monitor the maintenance and refurbishment of all apartments, including RTS periods
  • Ensure proper and swift follow up and resolution of any Resident and Guest dissatisfaction issues, using the ICAN system
  • Exceed Resident and Guest expectations in every aspect of luxury service in accordance with LQA standards
  • Continuously review the operation and make recommendations to enhance the product; follow up and resolve Residents and Guests issues; conduct regular in-depth inspections of all operational areas
  • Contribute to the development of the onboard product and our commitment to “bringing the destination alive” by creating and delivering events and experiences for Residents and Guests
  • Prepare and update the Navigator with postings when important information needs to be shared with Residents and Guests
  • Develop, monitor and achieve company, department and divisional goals and objectives by creating action plans; effectively communicate operational updates through daily line ups and divisional meetings

Hiring Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience on a luxury cruise ship, in a private country club or similar, luxury hotel or resort
  • Strong Management experience
  • Proven track record of providing exemplary customer service and problem resolution
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Experience managing a multi-cultural team
  • Good computer skills to include Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of point of sales systems, inventory management systems, Fidelio and computerized reservation systems
  • Knowledge of embark and debark procedures, customs and immigration requirements, visa restrictions and cabotage regulations
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent English skills both written and verbal
  • One additional language (German, French, Italian, Spanish) preferred
