The WorkSmart Group is Hiring a PVB Machine Operator - 1st shift Near Lavonia, GA

Client Summary: Shark Solutions is a Danish based cleantech market leader focused on giving a new life to post- consumer PVB (PolyVinyl Butyral) from windshields and architectural/building glass (laminated glass). We are passionate about this superior raw material and eliminating the need for companies to dispose of it in landfills. Job Summary: The PVB Machine Operator is responsible for operating complex equipment and assisting with projects. All team members are responsible for the Safety and Quality standards are delivered and maintained to operating standards. Operators will manufacture products by using a variety of equipment, machines, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly manufacture materials. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble and prep necessary items needed for the shift.
Control the flow of PVB and remove all contaminants including sorting out contaminants.
Assist Technical Lead with tasks pertaining to the daily operations.
Assist Technical Lead with minor maintenance related items.
Insepcting vehicles before shift begins and filling out daily operations.
Operating and managing technical equipment on fork-lift.
Monitor items being loaded for debris that could be harmful to machine or lower quality of product.
Monitor entire system continuously.
Working as a team and relieving each other promptly off sorting table every 20-30 minutes.
Identifying workspace safety hazards.
Complying to all OSHA, MS < and Safety Managment Standards.
Meet daily production requirements.
Conducting in process quality checks each hour.
Daily clean up as instructed.
Attend weekly production meetings.
Attend monthly safety meetings.
Participate in ongoing training requirements.
Comply with all company policies according to employee handbook during onboarding.
Any Other Reasonable Duties As And When Requested. Requirements3 years or more machine operation experience.
Mechanically inclined individual with drive and motivation.
Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity and cost.
Attention to detail.
Conduct machine operation safely and efficiently.
Possess a “continuous improvement” attitude.
High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promotes a safe work environment.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment, and complete simple records.
Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
