Position Overview: 

This is an Entry Level Position as a Marketing Associate. The ideal candidate will perform a number of tasks within the Marketing Department. Responsibilities will include coordinating prospect events and assisting the marketing department with a wide range of projects to enhance the efficiency of the Marketing Department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure that leads are entered into the marketing data management program for The Gardens Assisted Living and The Woodlands Retirement Community.
• Participate and oversee in-house mass mailings to ensure that mailing is completed in a timely manner.
• Follow-up to customer base to promote attendance at special events.
• Orient new residents i.e. review of Rules and Regulations.
• Coordinate the Welcome Neighbor Program, i.e. arrange for a resident(s) to dine with newcomers and to introduce them to other residents during the first two weeks of occupancy.
• Set up new resident files.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet changing business needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager, Supervisor, or Administrator.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Conduct competitive market studies.
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on telephone and in person.
• Strong Telephone Skills.
• Pleasant and clear telephone voice with proper grammar spoken.
• The ability to work with a variety of individuals, including customers and staff.
• Microsoft Office Skills – Excel-Word, Outlook.
• Ability to multi-task.

 Qualifications:

• Related job or internship experience a plus.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, focused and ambitious.
• Projects self-confidence and enthusiasm.
• Professional demeanor, team player, positive attitude.
• The ability to prioritize, juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines, both as an individual contributor and support team member.
• Use resources effectively and efficiently to achieve goals.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
