Up to $60/ hour! Great work environment! The Massage Therapist is responsible for performing massage therapy, body treatments, and
East-Meets-West treatments to guests according to the treatment protocols provided. The
Massage Therapist is responsible for ensuring the guest’s comfort and relaxation during each
service by offering amenities, such as beverages and neck buddies. The Massage Therapist is
responsible for obtaining the education and licensure required to perform these services. The
Massage Therapist is also responsible for educating the guest on the benefits of the services and
products offered by the spa. The Massage Therapist will work closely with the Spa Coordinator
and Spa Concierge to ensure that each guest is on schedule for their treatment(s).The Massage
Therapist is responsible for conforming to THE WOODHOUSE standards set forth in the Team
member Handbook and Operations Manual and will strive each day to exceed our guest’s
expectations.
Responsibilities:
x Performing an outstanding service to each guest
x Welcoming each guest and introducing yourself
x Preparing the guest for services according to the treatment protocols
x Offering the guest beverages and other amenities available
x Reviewing the guest’s chart for any valuable information
x Perform up to a combination of 7-8 different massages/body wraps per day.
x Educating the guest to the benefits of the service performed
x Educating the guest on the products used during the service
x Retailing home care products and explaining how to use them properly
x Referring the guest to other WOODHOUSE services offered
x Allowing the guest to relax by only speaking when spoken to
x Sanitizing the room according to the Sanitation Policy
x Documenting pertinent guest information into their records
x Maintain organization of the treatment rooms, preparation areas and changing lounges
x Escorts guests to dressing room, service areas, etc., when needed
x Ensure laundry services are completed daily
x Obtaining continuous education
x Renewal of licensure as required by the state
x Abide by all protocols as set forth by THE WOODHOUSE SPAS CORPORATION
x Ensuring proper lighting, music, cleanliness, and aromatherapy as set forth in the Ambiance
Standards
x Protect THE WOODHOUSE brand
Organizational Relationships:
The Massage Therapist reports directly to their department supervisor if applicable, then
General Manager.
Education, Experience and Training:
The Massage Therapist must attend the Initial Training Program set forth by the General Manager,
and all other trainings held in the future. Experience in guest relations and massage technology is
necessary.
Skills include: great massage and body work skills, organizational, communication, and retailing.
