The Women's Centers is Hiring a Practice Manager (FT) Near Vienna, VA

The Women’s Center, a non-profit community mental health practice in Vienna, VA and Washington, DC is recruiting a Practice Manager. Founded in 1974, we provide individual, family and group counseling to children, adolescents, adults, all gender identities, and families. We offer sliding scale, reduced fees and insurance billing.
Mission:
The mission of The Women’s Center is to significantly improve the mental health and well-being of all members of the community through counseling, education, support, and advocacy.
Duties:
  • Hire, train, and supervise administrative front end staff and billing.
  • Optimize the client scheduling functions by supervising and managing both Vienna and DC offices.
  • In concert with Clinical Director, monitor client care practices for compliance with Center’s values and mission.
  • Manage the daily operations of the practice including client intake, registration and billing.
  • Document administrative processes and update policies and procedures annually or as required.
  • Keeping informed of trends in practice administration and healthcare regulations and serve as the HIPAA Privacy Officer.
  • Oversee records management including individual, insurance and legal requests.
  • Train new clinical staff on administrative/clinical functions and serve as the point of contact for clinical staff.
  • Serve as a system administrator for electronic health record.
  • Liaison with external third party partners.
  • Credential/Re-credential providers with insurance carriers.
  • Serve as emergency back up for front-end staff.
  • Review payroll for all providers.
Requirements:
  • Experience supervising scheduling, registration and billing.
  • Proficient in health record management systems.
  • Knowledge of insurance credentialing and contracting.
