Job description
As a key member of the financial advisory team, the Financial Planning Specialists primary responsibility will be to accurately run client financial plans in eMoney and create customized analyses/reports as need be.
This is not a sales role and candidate will not have direct advisory oversight over a book of business.
The ideal candidate:
You have exemplary analytical skills and adept at evaluating all aspects of a clients financial picture, e.g., retirement planning, investments, education planning, insurance, etc.
You would serves as a go-to person, able to assess situations, and make effective and timely decisions, and takes a solutions-oriented approach to all tasks
You're a self-starter that is able to take direction and prioritize workload
You thrive in a highly collaborative environment where people share ideas and innovate
Intellectually curious and takes interest in the people and world around you
Primary responsibilities
As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will:
Apply your deep knowledge of the planning process to produce financial projections using financial planning software.
Create customized reports as requested by Advisors.
Evaluate and make recommendations related to clients retirement planning, pensions, survivors needs (insurance), 529 Plans, and other planning opportunities.
Support Advisors in meetings, analysis, development of financial plans, etc.
Your Background and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3-10 years of financial planning / wealth management experience, either in a client facing or support role.
CFP or currently working towards certification
Series 65 license
Special consideration will be given to candidates who have at least 2 years of experience working with eMoney
Preferred: experience with Salesforce
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
