This position collaborates with company management to capitalize on existing customer opportunities, develop plans for future customer opportunities, and establish and drive financial plan priorities and objectives for a specific market sector within a region or business unit.

Functions

1. Provide leadership and direction for a specific market sector within a region or business unit.
2. Supervise staff, including hiring, delegation, training, and development.
3. Establish and drive priorities, business goals, and financial plans.
4. Lead multi-disciplinary teams, provide project oversight, and technical guidance.
5. Develop business opportunities and nurture client relationships.
6. Organize client meetings, attend professional events, and conduct debriefing sessions.
7. Ensure regional efficiency, productivity, and client satisfaction.
8. Track market sector opportunities and contribute to proposal quality assurance.
9. Provide strategic direction, high-level client service, and ensure financial viability.

Requirements

1. Minimum education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Surveying, or related field.
2. Some specific specialties: Professional licensure (PE, RLA, or PLS) preferred.
3. Minimum experience: Fifteen or more (15 ) years’ experience in the AEC industry, with a demonstrated track record in business development and team leadership.
4. Valuable: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
