We are currently searching for FULL TIME and PART TIME Housekeeper for an immediate hire.

The main function of the Housekeeper position is to clean and service resident apartments, office, and common areas of the facility to meet public & facility standards.

The Duties & Responsibilities of the Housekeeper position include but are not limited to:

• Change linens, make beds, vacuum carpets and dust furniture, handrails, and baseboards
• Clean windowsills, empty wastebaskets, clean and sanitize the apartments, mop vinyl flooring and clean restrooms
• Clean resident apartments and common areas according to scheduled routine
• Maintain records and inform supervisor of supplies needed
• Spot-clean carpets and vinyl flooring, clean screens, wash windows and curtains, wipe down resident furniture, facility furniture and appliances as needed
• Distribute supplies, replace light bulbs, toilet paper, paper towels and soap
• Prepare resident apartments for new admissions and clean thoroughly immediately after resident discharge
• Create work order and report to supervisor any problems requiring special attention such as repairs, resident non-compliance, unsafe situations and other as appropriate
• Participate in safety committee, in-service training, and emergency drills
• Other tasks/duties as assigned

• Must present the highest standards of customer service to all residents, family members, co-workers, and visitors
• Have friendly, outgoing personality and sincere desire to serve the aged
• Must be able to deal with residents under all conditions
• Must be willing to pitch in and work in areas other than housekeeping
• Must be adaptable to change
• Must have critical thinking ability, must be able to determine solutions to problems that arise
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass new hire physical & drug screen and have clean background check
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays on an as-needed basis
