JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an upbeat and approachable beach attendant to provide excellent guest service experiences. Providing consistent white-glove service and exceeding customer expectations is the Westin way. The selected candidate for this role will have the following attributes:

• Friendly and approachable demeanor.

• Consistently offer professional and exemplary service.
• Act as a brand ambassador and valued source of information for guests.
• Excellent communication skills with a diverse group of customers.
• Practice proper verification of guests to ensure you are only providing service to the Westin guests.
• Demonstrate a high level of service to guests using the beach.
• Knowledge of menu items.
• Takes food orders.
• Time management skills.
• Address guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Manage use of chairs and umbrellas.
• Provide towels.
• CPR and First Aid certified is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Ability to complete additional duties (wear multiple hats) upon request) and assist whenever needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain regular attendance, is consistently on time.
• Observe duties, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming in compliance with the company dress code.
