Job Title: Nanny

Location: Columbia, Missouri

Start Date: Early August (pending baby's arrival date)

Wage: $17-$20 per hour

Hours: 35-45 hours per week

Family Description: Hi there! My husband and I are an entrepreneurial family based in Columbia, Missouri, and we're eagerly seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to join our team and care for our newborn baby boy when he arrives in July. We lead a dynamic and ever-changing lifestyle due to our business commitments, and we also have two large dogs, so it's important that you're comfortable with pets. While our parenting style is yet to be determined, it's likely to involve a structured schedule with some flexibility.

Qualifications:

- I'm looking for someone with training in childhood education and development.

- A clean driving record

- Certification in CPR & First Aid is required.

- Please provide references from previous childcare roles.

- Experience with newborns is highly valued.

- You'll need to be able to pass a background check.

- Must be a non smoker, and not taking care of any other kids during the hours worked for our family.

Responsibilities:

- Your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive and loving care for our newborn baby boy.

- We'd love for you to create a safe and stimulating environment for our baby's growth and development.

- Conducting age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development is important to us.

- We'll need your assistance with feeding, diapering, and maintaining sleep schedules.

- You'll also be responsible for performing light household chores related to the baby's care, such as laundry and tidying up the nursery. As well as some household chores such as groceries, dishes, cleaning, etc.

- Flexibility is key, as you'll need to adapt to our busy and fast-paced lifestyle.

- We're excited to collaborate with you on parenting techniques and preferences.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time, live-out nanny position. We're looking for someone who is adaptable, patient, and willing to learn alongside us as we navigate the journey of parenthood. Previous experience with newborns is highly desirable, as we value the expertise and support of an experienced caregiver during this special time.
