About the Role & Team

The Talent Acquisition Marketing Team is seeking a Creative Designer to be part of a team of creative individuals working with the recruitment organization to attract and engage top talent to a Company known for creating magical experiences for people of all ages. The Creative Designer uses their broad design expertise in both traditional and print media, as well as evolving standard processes in Digital Media to guide the conception, design, and launch of solutions to our clients’ most complex challenges. In collaboration with the team, this Creative Designer will use their critical thinking and creativity to develop, implement, and maintain creative strategies from large-scale campaigns to banner ads and everything in between, all while ensuring the integrity of the Disney brand standards, amplifying our recruitment marketing and evolving business goals. This is a Project Hire/Internal Assignment with a projected length of 1 year.

What You Will Do

  • Build design solutions that are engaging and align with the recruitment objectives and employment brand
  • Develop creative with a demonstrated knowledge of campaign executions across various media environments; print, digital/web, and social platforms
  • Participate in various design projects from concept to completion
  • Proven understanding of the steps required in the creative development process and the ability to perform those tasks in a timely and productive manner
  • Ideate and initiate new formats of content in response to performance reports and design trends
  • Partner with external and internal partners/vendors to complete creative design and production projects
  • Maintain and update brand style guides and ensure brand consistency across outputs
  • Develop new templates and styles to build rich libraries that are consistent with each brand
  • Work collaboratively within a group (i.e. across multiple lines of business) as well as independently with little supervision
  • Brainstorm with internal and external partners to develop innovative creative ideas to deliver the overall message and call to action
  • Collaborate with Content Producers for photo and video shoots, understanding client direction and expectations, and the production process

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and design-related tools and technology
  • Excellent time management skills along with the ability to provide oversight to multiple timelines, self-manage, and meet deadlines
  • A desire to understand client business needs and how it applies to marketing strategy, objectives, and creative deliverables
  • The ability to tackle problems creatively with the desire to learn and assist others on your team
  • The ability to influence, develop, and maintain strong working relationships with clients/partners, team members, business partners, and external vendors
  • Passion for The Walt Disney Company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives
  • Ability to act as a calculated risk-taker who isn’t afraid to step outside the box

Preferred Qualifications

It would be nice if you also have:

  • 2 years of design experience in a related industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge in video/motion graphics editing (e.g Premiere, After Effects)
  • Experience in preparing final pre-press files and managing relationships with vendors/partners
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent command of composition, typography, color, and fundamental communication – as well as examples of concept definition and design
  • Proven knowledge of recruitment marketing or recruitment advertising industry practices

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a related field

The hiring range for this remote position is $60,400.00-$93,000.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
