Vomela Commercial in Elk Grove, IL is seeking experienced Mail Department Data Processors. We are looking for experienced individuals who have prior experience with the US Postal service or in a mail processing facility to join our successful, growing organization. Our Mail Department Data Processor, must be a self-starter, possess strong imitative, sound decision maker and drive our processes within direct mail and data files department.

Responsibilities:

*Operate processes for outgoing mail from our facility and analyzes client-supplied data prior to job processing

*Ensures job tickets contain all information needed to properly work the job

*Manipulate data files, perform file hygiene, create output files, data and list mailing reports, and will write programming code as needed

*Coordinate with the Production Manager to ensure timely delivery of data to the appropriate imaging devices.

*Complete other duties as assigned and through completion

Requirements:

*2 years of experience with the US Postal service or in a mail processing facility

*High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

*Must type proficiently and have working knowledge of Windows and have a complete understanding of Microsoft Office and Excel in addition to other spreadsheets and data bases

*Experience with Intelligent Mail, Cass, NCOA and presorting using BCC Postal Software or similar and experienced in different categories of mail with knowledge of the USPS DMM rules and regulations

*Well organized, accurate, efficient, dependable and able to treat sensitive information with confidentiality

*Flexible to adjustments with priorities according to changing business needs and meet deadlines

*Perform multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
