The Vomela Companies is Hiring a CNC Machine Operator 2nd Shift 4 Day Work Week Near High Point, NC
The Vomela Transportation Group has an exciting opportunity for a Finishing Operator to join our team. This position will be responsible for operating and maintaining finishing equipment (CNC Router, Clamshell diecutter and Guillotine cutter) on first shift. Key Responsibilities
Daily maintenance of equipment
Finishing digital and/or screen-printed jobs
Operating a diecutter
Operating a router table
Operating a guillotine cutter
Cut, weed and applying app tape to vinyl
Maintain clean working environment and practice safe working habits
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 months experience running machines
The ability to multitask, set priorities, meet deadlines while working under minimal supervision
The ability to efficiently manage time and workload, which includes planning, prioritizing, organizing and following through on a variety of tasks
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
The ability to take initiative and learn/apply techniques and procedures
The ability to work in a team
