Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Supervisor / Menu Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing food service operations and ensuring the highest quality of service and adherence to food safety standards and recording residents’ meal choices. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in the food industry, particularly in hospital, assisted living, or nursing home settings.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of dietary staff members.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Implement nutritional menus accurately that satisfies needs of residents.
• Monitor food production and service to ensure quality and presentation standards are met.
• Train and mentor dietary staff on proper food handling, preparation, and service techniques.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the dietary department.
• Monitor inventory of food and supplies, and place orders as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the kitchen.
• Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
• Record Resident’s menu choices.
