Responsible for the planning, organizing, and scheduling of the maintenance. Including custodial, groundskeeping and general maintenance operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Engages in painting and performing basic repairs to masonry, woodwork and furnishing of buildings.
• Assists others as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
• Performs maintenance work and conducts preventative maintenance on a regular basis.
• Performs regular housekeeping and grounds keeping to company standard.
• Perform room turns as needed according to schedule outlined by Community Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Rotating on call assignment.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrated basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.

Language Skills

Individual must be able to effectively resolve maintenance problems by often discussing matters with management and other personnel. Ability to use effective communication skills with all maintenance staff for the overall operation of the department.

Indoor, outdoor, office and shop environment; subject to adverse weather conditions and subject to noise from equipment operation; subject to call outs for emergencies. Chemicals and solvents, fumes and working around and with machinery with moving parts.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
