Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True", this position is responsible for providing office support to the Retail Manager and Assistant Retail Buyer of merchandise for The Villages Golf & Tennis Division.

These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Full-Time, On-Site position.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain open and effective communication with Retail Manager, Buyers, FIA’s, and Golf Professionals.
• Assist with management of the inventory process.
• Assist with all open orders using the BONNIE system.
• Maintain inventory of merchandise to be delivered.
• Receiving of ordered merchandise from shipping companies.
• Compare and verify shipment received with the purchase order and packing slip giving detailed emphasis to style, color, size, logo color, location, and integrity.
• Repack merchandise and check order into receiving.
• Notify Retail Manager and vendor of problems with order (i.e. quantities, colors, sizes, logo, etc.).
• Ability to work in a multi-team environment.
• Confirms supply shipments received and reconciles any discrepancies.
• Confers with suppliers / vendors via email, phone, and fax to obtain status of orders and follows through until product arrival.
• Assists in the allocation of orders to be distributed to appropriate locations.
• Maintain detailed order status notes in the BONNIE system.
• Label received merchandise and package received merchandise for delivery to retail shops.
• Maintain daily delivery log for each retail unit.
• Receive shop returns and process documentation to return to vendors for credit or replacement.
• Maintain return tracking system and keep retail shops aware of status.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one (1) year related experience and / or training in a retail related or relevant role.
• Applicant must have strong working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook & POS Systems.
• This position is subjected to The Villages Vehicle Safety Program and its policies as it requires the use of personal vehicles for company business.

A Valid Driver’s License with a record acceptable to company standards is required for this position.

Physical / Environmental Demands :

• Regularly required to stand three (3) hours per shift.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance; stop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Frequently required to lift / move up to 25 pounds.
• Occasionally required to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts while working with or near office equipment.
• Personal protective equipment must always be worn if the job requires such equipment.
