The Village Senior Living is Hiring a Medication Technician Near Tacoma, WA

The Village Senior Living in Tacoma, Washington is hiring for Med Techs. Med Techs also serve as Caregivers in their role as Med Techs.

Evening Shift (2:30pm-10:30pm) & NOC Shift (10:30pm-6:30am)

4 on 2 off schedule rotation

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents to thrive in a caring and motivating environment.
  • Provide light housekeeping around their apartment that residents can’t complete on their own.
  • Assist residents with ambulation and mobility.
  • Assist residents with personal care and hygiene.
  • Encourage residents to attend activities.
  • Assist with meal deliveries to apartments and resident requests.
  • Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
  • Report any unusual incidents.
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
  • Assist/Administer medications as prescribed by the resident's physician.
  • Assist w/ laundry.

Skills

  • Knowledge of ADL's and ability to perform task for/with resident.
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Respectful and compassionate.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ethics.
  • Physical endurance.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass background check.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • CNA/HCA certified or grandfathered.
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Nurse delegation with insulin administration.

Additional Information:

  • This is a Full-Time Hourly Position.
  • Available Full Time Shifts: Afternoon (2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.)
  • 4 on 2 off rotation schedule
