As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of recreational activities for campers

- Provide guidance and supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all campers

- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and personal growth

- Teach and coach campers in various activities (mostly creative-based projects)

- Assist with behavior management strategies to ensure a positive camp experience for all participants

- Support campers in developing social skills, self-confidence, and independence

- Collaborate with other staff members to create engaging and age-appropriate programming

- Maintain accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and progress

Experience:

- Previous experience in working with children ages 2-7

- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire campers

- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children of different ages and backgrounds

- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors effectively

- Organizational skills to plan activities and manage time effectively
