Do you want to make a difference in a teen’s life? If so, join us as a clinician working in a high school setting where you will be able to put your skills to work providing treatment for teens and their families. The school setting affords the ability to collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to ensure consistent approaches. By working for the Village you will be exposed to a number of evidenced based models to draw from as well as a multidisciplinary team.
JOB SUMMARY
The Clinician is responsible for coordinating all aspects of clinical treatment for assigned clients in a school setting. Engages with clients firsthand. Will provide individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy and crisis intervention. The Clinician renders diagnostic and psychotherapeutic services to adolescents and families. Maintains contact with and consults with relevant collaborative parties. Participates as full member of the clinical team and is responsible for maintaining client records. Unlicensed clinicians are hired prior to obtaining their license to practice as mental health practitioners (i.e. psychology, social work, LMFT, LPC, LADC). Unlicensed clinicians will receive supervision by a licensed clinician and may be offered training opportunities. When eligible, all unlicensed clinicians are expected to obtain licensure in order to be considered for ongoing employment at The Village.
