Starting annual salary $69,000 commensurate with experience
Head Start Clinical Supervisor:
The Head Start Clinical Supervisor provides daily oversight, management, and coordination of the mental health consultation to local Head Start sites. This includes being responsible for clinical and administrative supervision, the recruitment of staff, coordinating training/professional development, interfacing with partner agencies, and implementing programmatic and agency priorities. As part of this role, the Clinical Supervisor will also provide mental health consultation to Head Start sites, on a part time basis. This includes teaming with the assigned Head Start center(s) to support classrooms, teachers, students, and families through observations, screenings, consultation and trainings. This position requires thorough knowledge of early childhood development and mental health coupled with an understanding of family dynamics and relationship building on an individual/family, provider, and community level.
JOB SUMMARY
Renders assessment and psychotherapeutic services to young children and families. Provides clinical and administrative supervision to staff. Participates in Quality Assurance and Utilization Review. Assists in implementing programmatic and agency priorities.
