Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Interventionist to join our team. The Interventionist will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide targeted support and interventions to enhance student learning and success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students' academic and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers to align interventions with classroom instruction and curriculum
- Provide direct instruction to students in small groups or one-on-one settings
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and track growth over time
- Support teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies and interventions
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student progress
Skills:
- Proficiency in curriculum development and instructional design
- Experience in special education or working with diverse student populations
- Ability to coach and educate teachers on effective intervention strategies
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders effectively
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and literacy education practices
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking student data
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
