Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any maintenance needs
- Perform repairs on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and other components as needed
- Fabricate and install parts or equipment to replace faulty or damaged components
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist in supervising contractors or external service providers when necessary
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or issues related to maintenance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Basic electrical knowledge and experience working with electrical systems
- Welding skills are a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
