The Verdes Foundation is Hiring a Dispensary Manager Near Santa Fe, NM

Exempt/Full-time (40 weekly hours)

Reports to: General Manager of Dispensary Operations

Oversight: The Verdes Foundation Santa Fe Location

Collaborates with: Assistant Manager, CSRs, Other Store Managers, Verdes Nurses, HR Manager, Kitchen Manager, Packaging Manager, Vendor Relations Manager, Director of Marketing

Job Summary:

The Store Manager position oversees all aspects of the dispensary operations for the Santa Fe location. The manager will establish processes and protocols to best facilitate organization, scheduling, training, and inventory control. In addition, they will maintain strong working relationships with staff to facilitate interpersonal professional employee relationships and strong customer service. Must have a strong commitment to enforcing policies to ensure the high standards of The Verdes Foundation.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Holds staff accountable for adhering to procedures and rules of the organization
  • Schedule staff to maximize utilization of resources
  • Forecast staffing needs and work with HR to recruit, interview, select, and train new employees
  • Oversee content of all training for Customer Service Representatives
  • Collaborate with production management team for all in-house and vendor products
  • Regular communication Marketing departments
  • Oversee delegation of tasks and break rotation
  • Responsible for safe cash count, beginning and end of day cash drawer counts
  • Accountable for the accuracy of cash deposits
  • Responsible for accurate receiving and storage of product
  • Audit Leaf Logix inventory against sales floor stock daily
  • Maintain proper inventory stock on the sales floor and in backstock, as needed
  • Support CSRs in daily function and customer interactions
  • Coordinate company resources for the store (i.e., IT, maintenance, etc.)
  • Regular/reliable attendance is required
  • Keeping best interest of the company and co-workers top of mind

Computer/Technical Responsibilities:

  • Leaf Logix for sales transactions, patient records/lookup information, returns/exchanges, product transfers
  • Internet to access sharepoint.com to make daily menus, Dutchie to access online orders, review and manage employee performance records
  • Microsoft Office
  • Common Windows computer problems
  • Competent in troubleshooting general office IT issues

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Customer/Employee Focus, Detailed, Market Knowledge, Results Driven, Strategic Planning, Management Proficiency, Customer Relationships, Verbal Communication, Technical Proficiency
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience managing staff in retail/restaurant environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in managing cash control/security procedures
  • Experience in inventory management and controls
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly prioritize tasks
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations, ambiguity, and changing priorities
  • Exceptional internal and external customer service and employee relations skills
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and motivated
  • Organization, time management, data entry and math skills

Physical and Emotional Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods, 8 – 10 hours multiple days in a row
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a confined area.
  • Must be able to bend/stoop/climb/reach
  • Must be able to present complex information to groups of people
  • Must be able to be physically present in the dispensary locations and administrative office
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations, ambiguity, and changing priorities
  • Must be able to tolerate a reasonable amount of work stress
