Description

The Essex Steam Train & Riverboat is looking for an organized, efficient individual to work as part of our culinary team aboard the Essex Clipper Dinner Train. The dishwasher is responsible for organizing kitchen work areas and keeping restaurant equipment in clean and orderly condition. All members of the culinary team are expected to exhibit exceptional work ethic and adhere to the standards set by food service management.

Please Note: All headcount and prep amounts are known before the work day begins.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safe preparation of varied menu items.
• Preparing the kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking needed items.
• Unloading and storing deliveries in marked locations.
• Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

Job Types: Part-time and Full-time positions available

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour starting

• 2 years verifiable experience.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
