The US Oncology Network is Hiring a Medical Director - Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Institute Washington DC Near Washington, WA

Overview

The Hematologic Malignancies Program at MedStar Georgetown LombardiComprehensive Cancer Center in Washington D.C. is growing rapidly and is seeking a leukemia expert to serve as Medical Director for the Leukemia Program at Georgetown, MedStar System. This position provides the ability to work with an outstanding group of nationally recognized experts in Lymphoma, Myeloma, and Blood and Marrow Stem Cell Transplantation/Cellular Therapy; in the only NCI designated cancer center in Washington DC. Excellent research and academic opportunities are offered with the ability to collaborate with its NCI consortium partner, Hackensack Meridian Health John Theurer Cancer Center (JTCC). Together with JTCC, the position provides access to a very large patient population and an ideal platform for clinical and translational research in the field. Similarly, the joint clinical research program provides support for Leukemia studies across the consortium.

The successful candidate will lead the leukemia disease group and help further develop and grow the established leukemia program into a destination site. The position of leukemia and BMT physician offers:

Qualifications:

  • BC/BE Hematologist with interest in Leukemia/BMT
  • Experience in clinical research in Leukemia and /or BMT.
