Overview

Woodlands Medical Specialists (WMS), a multi-specialty group with a strong concentration in cancer care, is looking to hire a Breast Surgeon for their location in Pensacola, Florida. This physician will be joining a Gynecologic Oncologist, five Hematologists/Oncologists and a Radiation Oncologist in a fully comprehensive cancer center. This practice has its own Breast Imaging Center that will steer internal referrals. WMS is involved in clinical research, screening services, offers chemotherapy, in-office dispensing, labs and comprehensive imaging center including PET-CT. We also have on site (practice owned) XRT.

Pensacola is the oldest Spanish settlement in Florida and home to more than 461,000 residents. It has a large naval military presence and is home to the famed Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron. Most notably, Pensacola is situated on the “Emerald Coast” of Florida and boasts beautiful white sand beaches and enjoys favorable temperatures year-round. It is home to an international airport that is served by most of the major air carriers nationally. Lastly, it has strong options for education both public and private.
