JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Employee Wellness Screening Specialist is a staff position responsible for engaging and coaching employees in behavior change using motivational interviewing, behavior modification techniques and working within the team on goal setting and other outcome measures specific to a particular unit, employee or household member.
Responsibilities include the delivery of other programs as specified by the Manager and team, the promotion and delivery of programs and products consistent with organization standards (i.
e. Biometric Screenings) and being an effective member of the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) and Wellness team.
EDUCATION :
Bachelor's Degree required.
EXPERIENCE :
Two or more years of direct health coaching experience in health care, human services, worksite wellness programming and / or education, or other related fields offering direct coaching services to clients.
Experience in motivational interviewing and stages of change is highly desirable. Must possess or be willing to obtain a tobacco treatment specialist basic level certification within the first year of employment is a requirement.
