JOB SUMMARY:
The Education Program Manager will create, oversee, and intermittently provide a best-in-class IT training curriculum and education plan for a specialty area in the University of Vermont Health Network (UVMHN). A successful candidate will work flexibly across internal IT and external stakeholders, managing the development of IT-focused education content, competencies, education delivery tools, assessment instruments, and curriculum matrices for their assigned specialty area (e.g., data/analytics, inpatient nursing, revenue cycle/finance).
The person in this position must be highly organized, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and possess a demonstrated background in complex project management. They must embrace collaboration, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus a high comfort level learning to use new technologies. A background in healthcare is highly desired.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
• Registered Nurse required
EXPERIENCE:
Two years' experience in program management, program development, project management required.
Experience in program management, program development, project management in education setting preferred.
Experience in healthcare setting is a plus.
