The University of Vermont Health Network is Hiring an ED Technician Near Berlin, VT

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision and/or direction of the Registered Nurse, the Emergency Department Technician II performs various direct and indirect patient care activities in accordance with the Nursing Department policies and procedures The ED Technician II demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to consistently provide care appropriate to the age of the patient, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric, and demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development. The Emergency Technician II may be assigned other duties in accordance with hospital/department policies, procedures and protocols.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE
High school graduate or equivalent. Requires AEMT, both state and national

EXPERIENCE
Six months of prehospital care experience preferred.
