Minimum Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or GED and 3 -5 years of custodial-related work.
- 1-3 years knowledge and experience in green cleaning practices.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Position also requires a valid Texas driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- OSHA 10-hour Training
- 3-5 years' experience in custodial work in an educational or institutional environment
- Supervises the duties, schedules and activities of custodial staff. Train and assist the custodial staff on work assignments.
- Utilize custodial software for custodial inspections. Enforce custodial safety protocols and procedures established by UTD.
- Maintain and stock sanitary vending machines on campus.
- Provide training to staff on custodial-related equipment.
- Handle custodial-related emergencies and recycling requests from campus.
- Meet with the custodial staff and custodial contractor on a regular basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
May be required to report to on-site work location during campus closure.
May be required to report to on-site work location during inclement weather.
