We are immediately hiring a Travel Technician Power or HVAC - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you'll do:

* You will be part of an elite technician team that will work on a wide range of projects from large events, to assisting Utilities customers or being part of a turnaround team in a refinery.

* Install, commission, service and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or OFA systems.

* Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Major Projects and in service centers. Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.

* Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.

* Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.

* Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, help design proactive notification to avoid failures and compliance

We're experts, which means you'll have the following skills and experience:

* High school diploma/GED

* 4-10 years' experience working on power generators, commercial HVAC equipment, and/or oil free air (OFA) compressors, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs Experience performance testing generators, HVAC, and oil free air equipment

* Electrical Generating System Association technician or other various certifications are a plus but not required.

* Knowledge using metering and instruments such as multi-meter's, amp meters, and Hygrometers

* Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card, valid driver's license

* Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
