Responsibilities

  • Supervises all clinical operations of Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology including supervision of personnel and patient flow to ensure providers have maximum opportunity to provide superior care to patients.
  • Participates in hiring processes, onboarding, training, performance improvement initiatives and annual performance appraisal processes.
  • Responsible for supervision of staff work schedules, time keeping and leave requests.
  • Monitors quality, competency, and skills of supervised staff.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate quantities and accessibility of supplies for the delivery of safe, high quality healthcare services.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance.
  • Addresses patient concerns according to policy.
  • Fosters an environment of collaboration and respect with physician colleagues, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
  • Reports to the Clinic Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • Graduate of accredited RN nursing program
  • State Board of Nursing RN license
  • Two years’ experience working as RN
  • ONS certification within 60 days of employment

Preferred Job Requirements: 

  • Prior supervisory experience in a hospital or physician clinic setting
  • Familiarity with physician clinic budget process and fiscal responsibility
  • Master of Science in Nursing
