Responsibilities

  • Perform quality echocardiographic diagnostic imaging to support quality patient care.
  • Perform quality cardiac testing procedures such as Echo Stress Testing to support quality diagnosis & treatment of patients.
  • Contribute to the professional development of all team members and provide monitoring and mentoring of students to ensure proper training in assisting patients, families and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with patients about the procedure to obtain information and to offer reassurance.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Associates Degree; may substitute degree for graduation from an accredited school of Echocardiography Technology.
  • Must obtain CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire date.
  • One-year of hands-on experience in Echocardiography in a comparable healthcare setting.
