The Twist Custom Ice Cream is Hiring an Assistant Manager - Full Time Near Navarre, FL

Description

You will serve as the leading example to our team by providing great service to customers and helpful leadership to staff. The role of this position is to ensure that the business and staff operate at peak efficiency in order to best meet all customer needs and sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all Team Member job duties including serving customers, preparing menu items, and stocking & cleaning the store
  • Display a positive attitude and example for Team Members and Shift Leads with your behavior and work ethic
  • Supervise, train, and lead all Team Members and Shift Leads by providing helpful and instructive guidance, feedback, and motivation throughout shifts
  • Delegate and oversee completion of tasks to ensure the store is prepared and able to provide peak customer service at all times
  • Interact with customers to provide a positive experience and address grievances, when necessary
  • Verify the company and all staff are always operating within store and state standards of cleanliness and food safety guidelines
  • Provide effective communication to the Business Owner and Store Manager of any needs, potential problems, or suggestions to continue the smooth operation of the business and its staff

Requirements

  • Comfortable standing and walking for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds throughout shifts
  • Able to safely and comfortably complete physically demanding tasks throughout each shift, such as: walking/moving quickly, repetitive use of hands and arms, bending over, and stepping up and down from a raised level
  • Flexible availability, to include afternoons, evening, and weekends

Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food service is preferred
  • Previous management/supervisor experience is preferred

  • Hourly pay, plus tips (usually at least an additional $3-4/hour with tips)

*We are looking for a long-term employee to learn and grow with our business. This position provides room for advancement within the company to a higher level management positions, to include: pay raises, additional benefits, and salaried pay.
