Superintendent Roofing Nashville – 660R

The Tradesmen Group, LLC is seeking an experienced roofing superintendent for projects in Nashville & Chattanooga TN & Louisville KY areas, as well as other areas of the country. The superintendent will need to be able to travel for assigned projects. Experience in flat roofing must include modified bitumen, single-ply membranes, and liquid-applied (PMMA) roofing. Experience in sloped roofing must consist of slate, tile, and metal/copper roofing. Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring safety on the project, quality work standards and client satisfaction by meeting or exceeding schedule delivery along with developing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with clients. Experience in historic restoration is preferred but not required.

Superintendent must be able to demonstrate a tangible commitment to safety as well as a general mindset of risk management. Superintendent will be commissioned with achieving company-established benchmarks and upholding the corporate culture and its values. Other requirements of the superintendent position include:

• Proficiency in understanding the drawings, specs, schedule, scope of work, and budget provided by the Project Manager.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years of roofing experience with 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Professionalism in daily communication with management, crew, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and community partners.
• Competency with computers including Office 365, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat is required.
• Applicants are required to pass a background check.
• Job requires OSHA 30-hour training.
• Overtime will be offered.
