Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

A Corporate Training Manager, or Development Educator, is responsible for maintaining the standards of an organization’s talent by providing comprehensive training at the start of employment and as needed throughout employment. Their duties include working closely with company executives and department heads to determine areas for employee improvement, developing training courses for new and existing employees and establishing methods to track employee performance after the completion of training.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop programs, user guides and curriculum for the employee of the organization for orientation and in-job training
  • Delivers technical training to employees to increase technology tool proficiency and adoption rate
  • Analyze the effectiveness of training and workshops to the employees and develop appropriate modification if needed
  • Collaborate with the company’s management to identify training needs and schedule appropriate training sessions for employees
  • Develop systems to monitor and ensure employees are performing their responsibilities according to the training
  • Ensure the compliance of the company’s employees to cooperate with standards and procedures during training sessions
  • Provide support and mentoring for new employees while conducting an evaluation and identifying sections where improvements are needed
  • Must be efficient in ERP systems; this position will require a person that is tech savvy
  • Other duties as assigned

This position has regular verbal and written contact with administrative personnel and owner. The nature of these communications ranges from a routine exchange of information to a process of securing information and/or responding to inquiries where explanation and discussion may be required using judgment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of corporate training experience (should be onsite, classroom, and online learning)
  • Experience with employee education techniques and conducting training analysis
  • Direct technical training experience of software products, applications, and/or services
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Business suite, specifically MS Teams and Power Point
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Navision
  • The position requires good, basic, clerical and administrative skills with emphasis on verbal and written communication skills (in English), good common sense; positive attitude; willingness to take initiative; and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to operate computer hardware and to work with and learn new software applications.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to work accurately and quickly under company deadlines.
  • Cooperative, courteous, flexible and good natured.
  • Conscientious, persistent, resourceful, productive and active.
  • Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships and deal with employees in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and commitment to meeting and exceeding deadlines and goals.
  • Valid driver’s license.
