The Tooth Doc is a small family dental office in Alexandria, near King St-Old Town Metrotail Station (Red Line). We are looking for a front desk receptionist/ concierge who is very responsible, reliable, has great COMMUNICATION skills, detailed orientated and must be a team player. A warm and compassionate personality that makes patient experience seamless.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

1) General office duties such as answering the phone and scheduling new and emergency patients. Insuring patient's info is up to date and able to scan the docs in the chart.

2) Verified patient insurance benefits and able to create dental insurance claims the day services are rendered.

3) Educate and present the discussed treatment plan to patient and able to schedule them for the treatment.

4) Able to present the pre-treatment financial arrangements with patients.

5) Be open to work some evening and weekends shift

6) Be familiar with Dentrix software and able to send claims and pre-auth to insurances.

Hours of operations: Mondays-Fridays 8:00-5:00, half days on Wednesdays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
