The Tisdell Group, Inc is Hiring a Fire Alarm Technician Near Lynn, MA

My client, a fire and life safety company is seeking a Licensed Fire Alarm Technician for the MA and RI market.

Summary:

The Licensed Fire Alarm Technician will complete scheduled and routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment and fire systems. He / she will service, program, and test fire alarm and life safety systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, adjust, clean and calibrate, ensuring systems are in excellent working order.
  • Complete within assigned hours in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving zero callbacks.
  • Assist with the start-up of new equipment or system installations and make adjustments to ensure system is fully functional.
  • Ensure work assignments are performed in a safe manner and within specified cost limits.

Qualifications:

Licensed Fire Alarm Technician or Electrician with fire alarm with 3-6 years' experience.

Specifications:

Must have a valid Fire Alarm license in MA.

Applicants with both RI and MA will be given additional consideration.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must have strong communication and customer service skills.

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, follow directions and meet deadlines.

All applicants will undergo a comprehensive background check.

Must be flexible with working hours and be willing to be part of an on-call rotation.

Report to assigned job site location on time, as directed.

Maintain and properly store tools, materials, and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
