The TCW Group is Hiring a Research Analyst Near Los Angeles, CA
Position Summary
TCW’s Income Equities team is seeking to hire a junior-level analyst to perform fundamental research on companies and industries. The sectors covered will include various income-focused sectors including but limited to financials, consumer, real estate and/or adjacent industries. The work will involve direct interaction with management teams, sell-side research analysts, and the portfolio managers of the fund. This is a great opportunity to gain direct experience in buy-side portfolio management and research.
Essential Duties
- Build valuation models
- Write memorandums and reports on stock ideas
- Track a list of companies and monitor relevant news flow
- Prepare for and conduct meeting with sell-side analysts and management
- Assist with other day-to-day tasks of the portfolio managers including supporting performance calculations and product development
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or similar field
- 5 or higher GPA
- 2 years in accounting, finance or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
