The Tandym Group is Hiring a Workers Compensation Claims Operations Compliance Specialist Near Alpharetta, GA

A recognized services organization in Georgia is looking to add a new Workers Compensation Claims Operations Compliance Specialist to their growing team in Atlanta. In this role, the Workers Compensation Claims Operations Compliance Specialist will be responsible for assisting the AVP Workers Compensation Claims Operations Manager with Workers Compensation administration, including state reporting, compliance filing and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
The Workers Compensation Claims Operations Compliance Specialist will:
  • Ensure all Workers Compensation financials associated with claim files are handled efficiently and are in alignment with Claims Best Practice by vendor partnerships and relationships
  • Assist with updating claims compliance guides for the various 50 state regulatory changes
  • Assist in compliance audits, where needed
  • Assist and support Workers Compensation regulatory reporting
  • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from Workers Compensation data
  • Establish priorities, anticipate problems, know and communicate the status of assignments to involved parties
  • Provide a consistent & high-quality level of claims service to our internal/ external clients
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in Workers Compensation Claims or Operations Teams
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Computer savvy
  • Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to provide business perspective in large, complex, multi-disciplinary systems implementation projects
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage forms and basic coverage analysis
