A health services organization in New York City is looking to add a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join their Women's Health & Fertility team in Brooklyn.
Responsibilities:
The Women's Health & Fertility Social Worker (LCSW) will:

• Provide counseling and emotional support to women and couples dealing with fertility issues
• Conduct individual therapy sessions and facilitate support groups for women and couples experiencing fertility-related challenges
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand the emotional, psychological, and social factors that may be impacting a woman's fertility journey
• Educate clients about various family-building options
• Offer crisis intervention and emotional support during critical moments in a woman's fertility journey
• Address issues related to sexual health, intimacy, and relationships that may be affected by fertility challenges
• Teach stress-reduction techniques, coping strategies, and mindfulness practices to help clients manage the emotional toll of fertility challenges
• Provide education on reproductive health, fertility preservation, and contraception
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Fertility experience as a Social Worker
• Perinatal Mood & Anxiety or Fertility training
• Solid assessment and documentation skills
• Patient oriented
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
