A banking services organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their Treasury team as their new Vice President / Director of Intraday Funding. In this role, the Vice President / Director of Intraday Funding will be responsible for managing the bank’s intraday liquidity position, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimizing funding costs and efficiency. Responsibilities: The Vice President / Director of Intraday Funding will:
Monitor and forecast the organization's intraday cash flows across various currencies and entities
Execute intraday funding transactions in the money markets and FX markets
Manage the organization's intraday liquidity buffers and collateral positions
Liaise with Front Office, Operations, Risk, and Finance teams to resolve any intraday funding issues or discrepancies
Develop and implement intraday funding policies, procedures, and controls
Analyze and report on intraday funding performance, risks, and opportunities
Provide input and support to strategic initiatives and projects related to intraday funding and liquidity management
Qualifications:
7 years of Treasury, Funding, Liquidity, and/or Case Management experience within a large Financial institution
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, and/or a related field
In-depth knowledge of Intraday Funding markets, products, and regulations
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg
Solid analytical, problem solving and quantitative skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
