A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their staff at one of their in patient mental health facilities in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 5 shifts a week (and every other weekend)
• Hours: 3:30pm to 12am or 11:30pm to 8am
• Setting: Inpatient
• Patient Population: Adults (Ages 18 )
• EMR: MAARS

Responsibilities:
The Inpatient Mental Health Nurse (RN) will:

• Assess the patients’ physical needs
• Administer medication
• Admit, discharge, and transfer patients based on Physician orders
• Assist with procedures and physical exams
• Record appropriate progress notes and other data into the patients’ medical record
• Draw blood, collect vital signs, etc.
• Conduct checks of treatment rooms for required equipment and ensuring its functionality
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1 year of Clinical experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification

Desired Skills:

• 2 years of experience working in a Clinical setting
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
