The Tandym Group is Hiring an Expense Analyst (Hybrid) Near Greenwich, CT

An investment services firm in Connecticut is currently seeking a new Expense Analyst to join their growing Firm Accounting Department.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
The Expense Analyst will:
  • Perform expense reporting; analyze data to provide trends, identify anomalies, and recommend action
  • Assist with budget and forecasting processes; liaise with cross-departmental budget owners
  • Review complex expense allocations and ensure accuracy; raise questions and discuss new allocations with Compliance.
  • Establish new expense allocation methodologies and tracking for new funds and entities
  • Review invoices for proper allocation, categorization and authorization
  • Own monthly close and reconciliation processes for assigned entities
  • Reconcile, fund, and record intercompany payments
  • Provide payment processing coverage, as needed
  • Participate in projects to implement, test and design enhancements and upgrades to ERP/general ledger system
  • Proactively identify process improvements
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of Expense Analysis experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Working knowledge of ERP / General Ledger systems
  • Microsoft Excel proficient
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
