A health services network in North Carolina is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Emergency Room team at one of their facilities in Henderson.
About the Opportunity:
- Shifts: 3 12-hour shifts (rotating days & nights)
- Hours: 7pm to 7am or 7am to 7pm
Responsibilities:
The Emergency Room Nurse (RN) will:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
- Meet the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needs of the patient and family
- Communicate effectively with all members of the Healthcare team as appropriate about changes in the patient’s condition or response to treatment
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room role/setting
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- NC Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
