Job Summary: As an Installer for Tailored Closet / Premier Garage of Nashville, you will be responsible for the timely and clean installation of closets, garage cabinets, pantries and other in-home organization products and cabinetry. The ideal candidate has at least one year of installation experience, preferably in a related industry, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check. Candidates must be prepared to get to work with a positive attitude, be honest and reliable and have the physical strength and stamina to perform the duties of this job. The main responsibility of this position is to install custom closet and cabinet systems in a safe, high quality, productive and profitable manner. The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction and be able to communicate what is necessary in a genuinely friendly and professional fashion. REQUIREMENTS:
HS Diploma or GED equivalent; trade or vocational school experience desirable
Carpentry experience preferred
General construction knowledge
Ability to read, understand, and interpret standard design plans, as well as labels and measurements on a tape measure.
Strong verbal and listening skills
Ability to work individually and as a team
Ability and desire to deliver exceptional customer service
Experience with common hand and power tools
Ability to remain active for an 8 hour shift
Attention to detail, with an uncompromising approach to quality
A strong sense of commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work area
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.; reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs and ladders, kneel, and crouch
Customer communication skills, problem solving abilities and the ability to work in a team environment
Pay is dependent on experience
A valid drivers license and clean driving record
