The Systems Group is Hiring an IT Specialist Near El Dorado, AR

The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next IT teammate. We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. IT Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first responder for MACs (moves, adds, and changes) of user PC equipment for our El Dorado area offices
  • Assist in day-to-day maintenance of IT resources (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, office phones, peripherals, printers, etc.)
  • Assist users with common Windows OS troubleshooting tasks
  • Assist users with common office software troubleshooting tasks
  • Assist users with common mobile device troubleshooting tasks (Apple, Android, etc.)
  • Occasionally assist with troubleshooting PCs used in an industrial setting (CNC controllers)
  • Assist the IT team, where needed

IT Specialist Qualification/ Skills:

  • Strong grasp of hardware and software troubleshooting concepts
  • Strong knowledge of supporting Microsoft software products (Windows, Office 365, etc.)
  • Some experience with advanced troubleshooting of engineering and office software products preferred (Autodesk, Hexagon/Intergraph, Leica, Foxit, Adobe, etc.)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Willing to learn new things

Experience & Requirements:

  • Position is located in El Dorado, AR Office
  • Candidate should be pursuing a degree in computer science, information technology, or other computer/ technology related fields
  • Candidate should have completed at least one year of the appropriate study
  • Candidate will be expected to work 20-25 hours/week during fall and/or spring semesters (part-time)
  • Candidate will have the opportunity to work for 40 hours/week during summer (full-time)
