The Systems Depot is a national distributor of Burglar, Fire, CCTV and Access Control equipment headquartered in Hickory, NC.

We have an immediate opening for an Outside Sales/Business Development Representative. 

This position will have a specific objective of specializing in obtaining business in government organizations and schools. Prefer candidates who have security industry experience with an ability to demonstrate technical product knowledge.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Prospect and generate new sales opportunities to increase sales, with a specific focus on school districts and government agencies
• Identify, develop, and execute on growth opportunities with existing dealers 
• Increase exposure to potential opportunities by attending state school security shows and school board meetings 
• Promote product knowledge by offering trainings and product demonstrations to school districts and government agencies 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related field
• Must be self-motivated, with a proven and documented history of sales success
• Proven ability and expertise at developing strong customer relationships
